Slow pages lose people before they read a word. We measure what slows your site down, fix it, and prove the result with real numbers.

The Supra Ultra homepage, a site we built, sharpening into view as it loads. The figures are an illustration of typical results, not measurements from this site. The load time drops from 6.8 seconds before fixes to 1.2 seconds after. The page also stops jumping about and reacts to taps faster.

The problem

Slow pages lose people. Google notices too.

Most people visit on a phone, often on a patchy signal. A slow site lets them down in three ways. Do any of these sound like yours?

  1. People give up before it loads.

More than half of phone visitors leave if a page takes over 3 seconds. They never see your offer, and you never know they came.

  2. The page jumps as it loads.

Pictures and banners arrive late and push everything down. People tap the wrong thing, lose their place, and lose patience.

  3. Google flags your pages.

Google checks how fast and steady your pages feel. These checks are called Core Web Vitals. Pages that fail them can slip down the results.

Sound familiar? We’ll test your key pages and show you exactly what slows them down.

The fix, proven

Big photos. Still fast.

Supra Ultra turns unusual, challenging buildings into luxury homes. We built their website in Nuxt. The homes sell on their photos, so every page is heavy with large pictures. Its main photo still shows in just over a second on desktop.

  1. 01Measure. On a property developer’s site the photos sell the homes. They have to stay big and sharp, so the question is which ones a visitor needs first.
  2. 02Fix. The big main photo weighs just 80 KB, comes in a size to suit each screen and is marked to load first. The layout holds still as the rest of the page fills in.
  3. 03Prove. We ran Lighthouse on the live homepage. It scores 97 out of 100 for performance on desktop.

A short replay. First, a mock-up of the Supra Ultra homepage loading slowly: photos arrive in chunks and a banner pushes the page down. Next, four fixes go live. Last, the real homepage as it is today loads at once, and a Lighthouse test in Chrome DevTools scores it 97 for performance on desktop: First Contentful Paint 0.9 seconds, Largest Contentful Paint 1.1 seconds, Total Blocking Time 0 milliseconds, Cumulative Layout Shift 0 and Speed Index 0.9 seconds.

From the client

It’s great being able to send over a few changes and know they’ll be taken care of. Keeping the website up to date has become much easier for us.

Want the same for your site? Send us your slowest page. We’ll tell you what we’d fix first.

The plan

Measure. Fix. Prove it.

We test how fast your site is. We fix what slows it down. Then we test again, so you can see the change for yourself.

  1. Measure

We test your key pages on a real phone and a slow connection. We also read Google’s data from your real visitors. Then we list what slows you down, biggest problem first.

    You get
    • A speed audit in plain English
    • Your Core Web Vitals today, page by page
    • A ranked list of fixes, with the effort for each
  2. Fix

We make the fixes on a copy of your site first. Pictures get smaller. Unused code goes. Fonts load faster. Pages get saved ready to send. Your site looks the same. It just moves faster.

    You get
    • Every agreed fix, done for you
    • Each fix tested on phone and desktop
    • A full check that nothing broke
  3. Prove

We put the fixes live and test again. You get a short report with before-and-after numbers. Then we keep an eye on your speed for 30 days.

Process

We look closely. Then we fix it.

No single test tells the whole story. A lab test shows what could go wrong. Google’s visitor data shows what does. The network log shows which files cost the most. We fix where they agree.

FAQ

Not sure yet? Fair enough.

These are the doubts we hear most, with straight answers. Can’t see yours? Ask us on a call.

If people leave before your page loads, every pound you spend on ads and SEO buys fewer customers. A faster site makes all of that work harder. You get a fixed quote before we start, and you see the numbers before and after.

Plugins fix the easy part. Most slow sites have a few big problems underneath, like huge photos, heavy apps or a slow server. We find those first, using real data, and fix them by hand.

Almost never. Most slow sites can be fixed. If yours really can’t be, we’ll tell you in the audit. That way you don’t spend money on fixes that won’t last.

No. We change how your site loads, not how it looks. Your pictures, words and layout stay the same. If a fix would change something you can see, we ask you first.

We make every fix on a copy of your site first and test it on phone and desktop. Nothing goes live until it passes. If something still goes wrong after launch, we roll it back and look again.

They can. We’ll give them the ranked list of fixes and check the work before it goes live. Or we make the fixes ourselves. We work with WordPress, Shopify, Magento 2 and most custom-built sites.

We don’t promise a score of 100. Chasing it can waste your money. We aim to pass Core Web Vitals on your key pages. Then we show you the real numbers, before and after.

No. It’s a one-off fee, and you keep every fix. If you want us to keep watch each month, that’s our hosting and care plan. You don’t have to take it.

Lab tests show the change on the day the fixes go live. Google’s real-visitor data looks back over 28 days, so it catches up over the next month. That’s why we check again after 30 days.

As long as nothing big changes. New apps, huge photos and extra plugins can slow a site down again. We check your speed for 30 days after launch. After that, a care plan can keep watch for you.
